History
3rd - 8th August, Arreton Manor returns to the turbulent Summer
of 1642, as Royalist and Parliamentary troops fight over the first
prize of the Civil War - The Isle of Wight. This vivid and
exciting re-creation of Seventeenth Century rural life is presented by
the performers of the rightly renowned Church, State and Household
Living History Group, who are returning to Arreton after a six year
absence.
With drill displays, courtly dancing, swordplay,
and the cooking of the period, all presented by a cast of fantastic
authentic characters, It's Warre! at Arreton Manor has something for
everyone, and is a day out not to be missed.

Bring your own picnic and settle yourselves down on the lawn to
watch and enjoy this theatrical performance.

Living
TV's 'Most Haunted' visited Arreton Manor in January 2005 and the
episode was broadcast the following May.
A walk through the grounds of the Manor and its surrounding area
incorporating all the ghostly tales of years gone by lead by the
island’s one and only Marc Tuckey.
